Organizers & Civic Leaders.
A Tailor Made Journey

This learning journey will help you identify and work on your most pressing community challenges. Through weekly one-on-one sessions and the Close Knit Framework we will tackle your specific needs around starting, growing, or sustaining your community. The goal is to help you build more powerful relationships while increasing belonging, trust and resilience in your community.

Topics can include: seeding, programming & activities, co-creation, leadership, communication, shared agreements, business models, platforms, metrics and many more.

What You Will Get Out of It

You'll grow you understanding of core and advanced community building principles, learn from case studies, fill in worksheets, create and execute a strategy as we go or create a plan to implement when the time is right.

Your Facilitator

Hi I’m Sascha. 👋 I co-authored the Community Canvas, which has been used by over 100,000 community builders and I’m excited to bring all my learnings to this learning journey.
I work at the intersection of systems thinking, communication and user experience design to unravel complex relationships and create meaningful interactions and systems change that help organizations and individuals build belonging, trust and resilience.

I previously worked at the New York Times, Google's Creative Lab and have consulted with startups, innovation projects and nonprofits for the last 10 years.
